Clinical Trial Volunteers

If you are interested in volunteering to participate in one of Q-Pharm's clinical trials the following information will be of interest to you. Alternatively call our volunteer recruitment staff on 3845 3707 or 3845 3620.

  • In most clinical trials participants are routinely screened for drugs of abuse as an exclusion criterion. (Policy documents are available upon request).
  • Volunteers are fully informed of the nature of the study, the properties and possible side effects of the study drug.
  • All relevant aspects of clinical trial procedures will be explained to you.
  • Volunteers may ask questions of the medical investigator or other Q-Pharm staff at any time, and are encouraged to do so.
  • You will be required to provide Photo ID ( Drivers licence, passport or proof of ID card) to verify your identity each time you visit the clinic.      
  • You will be required to provide personal details and details of your medical history to the medical investigator or Q-Pharm staff.
  • You will be required to have routine screening tests performed such as biochemistry, haematology and serology tests and a urine drug screen.
